The Department of Homeless Services is targeting the Peter Jay Sharp Center for Opportunity in East Williamsburg and attempting to force The Doe Fund to warehouse sex offenders there. DHS’s demands not only endanger The Doe Fund’s staff and trainees, but also a community that now bustles with young people, new businesses, and, most importantly, parks, day cares, and schools.
