A Sneak Peek Inside Our Latest Residence
Like its neighboring Doe Fund residence across the street, 3118 Webster Avenue was designed to provide more than a roof over people’s heads. It exemplifies our belief that no matter where they come from, the individuals and families renting our units deserve to live safely, stably, and with dignity.
The residence is fully equipped with modern amenities, from an outdoor courtyard to a community room, laundry room, fitness facilities, a green roof, energy efficient appliances, and 24/7 security. On-site case managers serve supportive housing tenants, who have been placed into pre-furnished units after experiencing homelessness and pay one-third of their income on rent. Thanks to our new RWA@Home initiative, tenants also have access to Ready, Willing & Able‘s paid work training program. Our model teaches participants skills that are essential to success in the workplace — from communication and following directions to teamwork and time management — while helping build savings and even providing access to occupational courses.
While 3118 Webster Avenue’s ribbon cutting ceremony is months away, we’re sharing a sneak peek inside the residence for our readers. Take a look below!
