 The program's original work project is a city-contracted construction and apartment repair project through which trainees rehabilitate low-income, city-owned apartment buildings. Today Ready, Willing & Able construction crews bid competitively for city contracts and serve not only as a revenue generating source for the program, but also as an opportunity for trainees to become experienced construction workers.
