| The Peter Jay Sharp Residence provides affordable apartments in East Harlem to formerly homeless individuals who are beginning lives of independence and self-sufficiency. The six-story, single room occupancy building provides 74 apartments equipped with private bathrooms and kitchens, as well as communal spaces such as television rooms and comfortable lounges. The building houses an association of tenants committed to supporting each other in their common goals of staying drug-free and employed.
In addition to affordable housing, the building provides:

- On-site fitness room
- Case management
