Sweep the Street
Don't judge me,
I'm sweeping the street.
Don't misconstrue me,
can't you, too, keep it neat?
Don't personalize me,
but be discreet.
If you kept it cleaner,
these streets would be less meaner.
Don't drop on top of that spot.
This is not a sanitation lot.
So, until people understand that
children still need a safer place to play,
I will continue to sweep God's streets today.
