Bucketman
My vision of Bucketman is one of a strong-willed man recovering from
street addictions. Yes, every superhero has a weakness. Just as Superman's
nemesis was Kryptonite, Bucketman's is a certain narcotic. He is an
intelligent, but still lonely man who goes through most days happy.
Sometimes, though, he has a bad day due to some outwardly mean people who
may see him coming and kick trash in his path or tilt a garbage can over
just to see him pick or sweep it up. People sometimes simply laugh at him
or say mean things about him cleaning THEIR STREETS. Bucketman ignores
them and does his job -- a darn good job! He has better days when he sees
a park he has cleaned and he glows -- a spectra of grandiosity -- when he
sees the innocence and appreciation in a child's
face.
But at night!! Bucketman is a super superhero, stopping crime,
capturing drug dealers, stopping bullets with his mighty bucket, rescuing
kittens from trees by tossing it in the air, VROOOM! Spinning like a tornado,
it brings the kitten down safely.
Only one man knows of Bucketman's weakness. And that one man can
destroy him.
