On Friday, October 28th, the iconic Empire State Building put on its own blue uniform to celebrate the transformations made possible by the generosity of tens of thousands of New Yorkers.
Each day, the hardworking "men in blue" make New York City a better place while they create brighter futures for themselves and their children. In honor of their accomplishments — and to inspire future "men in blue" — the Empire State Building will be lit in Doe Fund blue by Oscar-nominated actress Kathleen Turner.
